Details for entrants, teachers & parents

The competition is open to any 10 - 14 year old student. Both teams and individuals may enter. Each team can consist of 2 - 4 students. We are happy to invite school teams or family teams. Everyone is welcome. There is no charge for any team to enter the competition.

 

For students who are just starting to program and may not have an EV3 Robot :

 

Sentinus  are running a special four day introduction to EV3 robotics. The classes will be held during 29th July - 31st July in QUB Great Hall at 09.00 - 16.00 daily. Students will be trained and prepared to enter the three separate competition challenges as well as the speed race. To cover the cost of the training and the loan of the EV3 robot, there will be a charge of £100 pp for the four days including competition day. This summer school will be limited to 40 students.

Experienced students with their own EV3’s are also welcome to enter the competition free of charge.
